How we structure fees.

The firm conducts searches on both contingency and retained bases. For most engagements, a contingency arrangement applies: a percentage of the candidate’s first-year compensation, payable upon hire. There is no retainer and no obligation to engage.

For confidential searches, executive-level placements, or engagements requiring exclusive market representation, we can structure a retained engagement on request.

Contract placements operate on a bill-rate basis. For these engagements, the firm manages the employment relationship, including workers’ compensation, benefits, and payroll, during the contract term.

01How do you verify credentials and licensure?
Standard practice for all physician and advanced practice placements includes confirmation of state licensure, board certification, DEA registration, and malpractice history. We conduct professional reference interviews, not confirmations, and document our findings for the hiring organization.
02What is the difference between permanent placement and locum tenens?
Permanent placement is a direct hire into the organization's employed physician group. Locum tenens is a contract engagement, typically for coverage during leaves, recruitment gaps, or trial periods. We handle both and can advise on which engagement type best fits a given situation.
03Do you work with independent practices as well as health systems?
Yes. Our healthcare practice serves hospitals, integrated health systems, multispecialty groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and solo physician practices. The recruiting process is adjusted to the scale and governance of the organization.
04What is a typical search timeline?
Advanced practice roles often conclude within three to five weeks. Specialty physician searches can run six to twelve weeks depending on specialty, geography, and compensation structure. We provide an honest timeline after understanding the opening.
