The Approach

How we conduct other industries searches.

Searches outside our core verticals get the same diligence as the ones inside. The difference is that we don't pretend to have ten years of relationships in every industry. For an out-of-vertical engagement, we tell you on the first call where our bench depth is real and where we'll have to build it for your search. If we can credibly deliver in the timeline you need, we take the engagement. If we can't, we say so. We focus on mid-level (director, manager) and senior-level (VP, C-suite) roles because that's where our process gives a client a measurable advantage over general-purpose staffing agencies.

Engagement Terms

How we structure fees.

The firm conducts searches on both contingency and retained bases. For most engagements, a contingency arrangement applies: a percentage of the candidate’s first-year compensation, payable upon hire. There is no retainer and no obligation to engage.

For confidential searches, executive-level placements, or engagements requiring exclusive market representation, we can structure a retained engagement on request.

Contract placements operate on a bill-rate basis. For these engagements, the firm manages the employment relationship, including workers’ compensation, benefits, and payroll, during the contract term.
